A while back I posted on "tired of GM alternators" I'm running the 10SI model. I had problems with the self ignitor coming on until well over 3K rpm. I bought one of these Anti Feed Back Diode Harness 10SI 12SI 15SI 27SI Delco Alternator Regulator Lead | eBay on ebay and installed it today. They claim, no more revving the engine. Well, it did show improvement. The alternator now kicks in around 2K rpm instead of 3K. It doesn't cause the alternator to start charging at startup. Just to let everyone know.
