I have a 71 skylark with a 455 .030 over. I have duel 14" 1250cfm electric fans, 4 core radiator with a custom shroud. I also have a 160 degree high flow thermostat. The rear end is .308 gears so its doesn't run high rpm's on the highway. But i am still pushing 230 degrees with no a/c on a warm day. Any suggestions what else i can do to get this temp down? Or do I really need to. I'm not sure if this is too hot or not. also the water pump is band new.
