Ok I have been reading a ton of articles on the pros and cons of paint vs powder coat and which will hold up when brake fluid is spilled on it.
Im tearing my truck down to the frame this winter and want to get and all the brackets painted or powder coated.
I used DOT 4 brake fluid in my system, but since I have it tore down it wont be that much more work to pull the master cyl. and calibrators to flush them completely.
My thoughts were to have everything powder coated then I read that brake fluid can harm the powder coat. If I go this route what would be the best brake fluid to use?
I would just like to get some good advice before I spend a lot on a powder coat job.
