55 chevy truck shorter steering column
Looking for a shorter steering column for my 1955 Chevy Truck. Any ideas? Does anyone make one or does someone make a column that fits but can be shortened? I don't think stock column can be shortened....

Using a bolt in yoke as a slip yoke
The drive line shop guy told me that i can use my bolt in yoke as a slip yoke if i forget about the bolt and washer and weld a cap onto it. Is this true or not?
